I was selected for the CUPOTY shortlist for the Death & Decay challenge!

I always have the same morning routine: I make myself a coffee, open my iPad and first check my emails. This morning I saw that the shortlist for the Death and Decay challenge was online. I clicked the link, scrolled through and saw my name with my photo! I took a second sip of coffee just to make sure I was seeing it correctly!

It’s truly an honor for me to have been selected by CUPOTY for this challenge. When I first started macro photography a year ago, my go-to source for inspiration and learning was CUPOTY’s site, looking at previous winners. The variety of styles, lighting and compositions really pushed me to dive deeper into this passion, which now literally takes up all my free time.

The winners will be announced in mid-April and honestly, I’m already super happy just to have been shortlisted. There are some truly amazing photos and the talent is incredible. Thanks to CUPOTY for their professionalism and all the work behind this challenge. You just made my day and my coffee has never tasted this good!
